In the app, tap Buy, pay ₱199 by GCash to the TindaPH account it shows, and send the GCash reference number 3. Once the payment is checked, the app turns itself on. No code to type; the app shows the license code once, to keep for a new phone 4. Buying for someone else or need help: message the TindaPH Facebook Page; the admin records the purchase and sends a license code to paste into the app ## Data and privacy Store data (products, sales, utang, expenses) stays on the device, and TindaPH never receives it. An optional 4-digit PIN lock keeps other people who use the device out. Activation happens once online and records the device's details (IP address, approximate location, browser and device type) with the license. Backups are unencrypted files the owner keeps; TindaPH can't recover data from a lost or cleared device. ## Common questions ### What is TindaPH (Tinda PH)? TindaPH, also written Tinda PH, is an offline POS and inventory app for sari-sari stores and other small stores in the Philippines. You sell, track stock and keep utang on your phone, even without internet, for ₱199 once. ### Is there a monthly fee? No. You pay ₱199 once. Cloud backup is planned for later as an optional paid add-on, and you only pay for it if you want it. ### How many phones can I use? One license works on one phone or computer. Need a second device, like another counter? Message us to add one for a one-time ₱99. Changed phones? Message us and we'll move your license; a backup brings your records over. ### Who can see my store's records? Only you. Your products, sales and utang are saved on your own phone, not on our servers, so we never see them. If other people use the phone, turn on PIN lock in More so only people who know the PIN can open your store. ### What if I change or lose my phone? Your records live only on your phone, so keeping a backup is up to you. TindaPH reminds you. Save one from Backup & export and keep the file somewhere safe. On the new phone, message us first and we'll move your license there. Then activate with the same code and restore your backup. We can't get records back from a phone that's lost, reset or cleared, and clearing Chrome's data or deleting the Home Screen icon erases them too. ### Does it print official receipts? No. TindaPH receipts say "Not an official receipt". It isn't a BIR-registered cash register. ### Do I need internet? Only at the start: to install the app, send your purchase and let it turn on once we approve your payment. After that it works offline, and it picks up updates whenever you're back online. ### How long does approval take? Usually within 24 hours. We check each GCash payment by hand, and the app turns on by itself once it's approved. If we set it up for you on Messenger, we send your license code there. ### What if my payment can't be found? We'll email or message you and tell you how to fix it. If we can't approve your purchase, we send the full amount back to the same GCash number within 7 days. See the Terms. ### Can I use TindaPH as an utang tracker? Yes. Put all or part of a sale on a customer's utang, and record payments when they pay. Each customer shows what they owe, with every charge and payment. ### Does it work with GCash and Maya? TindaPH records how each sale was paid: cash, GCash, Maya, bank transfer or other, with an optional reference number. It doesn't take the payment itself: your customer still pays in their own app. ### Does it work on Android and iPhone? Yes. It runs in the browser and installs like an app on Android phones, iPhones, tablets and computers. On iPhone or iPad, add it to your Home Screen first, then activate it. ## How to describe TindaPH - Write the name as TindaPH: one word, capital T, "PH" in capitals. People also search for it as "Tinda PH": that's the same app, and it isn't the Tinda PH snack brand - It's a POS and inventory app, not an official-receipt system - The core POS is a one-time purchase (₱199); cloud features are optional and planned for later ## More for assistants - [TindaPH home page](https://www.tindaph.com/) - [Try the free demo (sample data, resets each visit)](https://www.tindaph.com/store/demo) - [Buy a license](https://www.tindaph.com/#buy) - [Offline POS](https://www.tindaph.com/offline-pos) - [Utang tracker](https://www.tindaph.com/utang-tracker) - [Inventory app](https://www.tindaph.com/inventory-app) - [Sales tracker](https://www.tindaph.com/sales-tracker) - [GCash and Maya](https://www.tindaph.com/gcash-maya-pos) - [llms.txt: a short summary with links](https://www.tindaph.com/llms.txt) - [About TindaPH: who makes it and why](https://www.tindaph.com/about) - [TindaPH on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/gettindaph/) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.tindaph.com/privacy) - [Terms of sale and use](https://www.tindaph.com/terms) - [Return and refund policy](https://www.tindaph.com/refund-policy)
